What people are saying...

After retiring from teaching piano I decided to learn to play the harp. Circumstances put Minda in my path and I began the challenge of studying this instrument at my advanced age. Her skill as a harpist and infinite patience as a teacher has been a blessing to me. I would highly recommend  Minda as your Harp, piano or guitar teacher. She is creative in her teaching and provides many opportunities for related activities that further enhance study!!! Thank you Minda!!!

If you are thinking about having your child take music lessons, I would recommend Ms. Minda for your teacher! She is understanding, very knowledgeable in her profession and has a lot of patience with her students.

She tries to make things fun and provides different activities and opportunities for her students to learn, like and grow in music. Ms. Minda will gently push them to achieve their full potential. My daughter has been studying guitar with Ms. Minda for 5 years and piano for 3 years. In my case, my daughter struggles with ADD and learning music has helped my daughter improve her ability to focus which in turn improved her grades academically in school, without the use of medicine! Ms. Minda listens and observes your child so that she can teach them on their level of understanding and abilities, I would definitely recommend Ms. Minda as your child's music teacher.

"My son Sanjay had a really good time at MindaMusic Camp, the week of June 3,2013. He had the chance to play several different instruments and various other activities, including tie dyeing their t-shirts, painting with pastels, fun day at the park etc. He had great time helping organize the final performance, the ensemble consisting of ukuleles, violin, bells and drums. It was a great experience for him. Thanks Minda for organizing a very memorable, fun filled, best Summer camp ever!

Thanks for a fabulous recital and for all your hard work this past year with your students. My kids are proof of your hard work and dedication! We watched their performances from last year's recital and we couldn't believe the difference in only a year! Thank you!!!!

Dear Minda, You have given our family such a tremendous gift: the love of music (and making music!) It was such a joy to see Scout and Emma race happily in your door every week. And both Stuart and I had such a positive experience inside your doors as well. We know you add so much to many other childrens' and adults' lives as well, and beyond that you enrich our community with your talent and generous spirit. (Jan. 28, 2003)

Jordan and I went to Borders Bookstore on Friday night to have Hot Chocolate & look at magazines. There is a piano there and some teenagers were playing. I told Jordan that he could play if he wanted to but he declined. Well after the other teenagers were showing off their STUFF, Jordan decided that he wanted to play. He got up there and played from MEMORY: Leap Frog Boogie, Swans on the Lake, God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman and tried to play a little of It Came Upon a Midnight clear but couldnt remember the notes. EVERYONE CLAPPED when he finished. So the rest of the evening, he continued to play around on the piano. He asked if the next time we go if he could bring his MUSIC. I said YES!! It was FUN for him. He got A LOT of compliments from various people as they fixed their coffee. You would have been so proud, I know I WAS!!
