This book is for beginning and early intermediate banjo players. No prior playing experience or note reading ability is required. Emphasis is on compact banjo standards that are easy and fun to play. While writing the arrangements, the author has considered the small hands of children. There are no stretches that present inordinate technical difficulties. Every song in the book is included on the companion CD. The tunes are recorded at a moderate speed and include count-off notes and rhythm guitar accompaniment.
